The Captain’s Cabin
Come spend a relaxing weekend in the Captain’s Cabin! There’s nothing quite like soaking in a two-person Jacuzzi while a fire burns in the fireplace. Created in 1997, this special guest room also has an unusual four-poster queen bed made by from rough-sawn Maine timber, grey-stained solid beaming and wide pine floorboards. There is a hanging closet and wall shelves for guest clothing and the bathroom area has an ample shower and pedestal sink. There are a set of doors which adjoin the Captain’s Cabin with its neighbor, The Fo’c’sle, which can be opened to create a suite.
As with all our guest rooms, the Captain’s Cabin has a private bathroom, air conditioning (in-season), cable television, a DVD player, clock radio. You will need to come upstairs to access WI-FI – the room is too far from the wireless. All beds have special reading lights or side tables with reading lamps. The firewood for this room is provided at no charge.
